Every year, MumsAid stands beside mothers navigating the emotional and mental health challenges of pregnancy and early motherhood. Since 2012, we’ve grown from a small grassroots start-up into an award-winning, nationally recognised charity, driven by a clear goal that no mother should suffer in silence or face these struggles alone.
We understand that when a mother feels supported, understood, and cared for, her baby has the best possible chance to thrive. The impact reaches far beyond one person, transforming families, strengthening relationships, and shaping healthier futures.
Through counselling, specialist group support, and advocacy, we meet mothers with empathy, expertise, and hope. We also equip frontline professionals to recognise perinatal mental health challenges early and help break the stigma surrounding maternal mental health.
But we can’t do it alone.
With your support, we can reach more mothers at the moments they need us most, giving more babies the safe, loving start in life they deserve.
Together, we’re changing lives, nurturing families, and creating brighter futures for generations to come
Why Your Donation Matters
Too many mothers are struggling in silence.
Around 1 in 5 women experience depression during pregnancy or within the first year after giving birth. Yet up to half never receive the support they need, often because symptoms go unnoticed or services remain out of reach.
The consequences can be devastating. For more than a decade, suicide has remained the leading direct cause of maternal death between six weeks and one year after birth.
Your donation helps change this.
By supporting early intervention, accessible mental health support, and greater awareness, you can help ensure more mothers are seen, heard, and cared for before they reach crisis point. Every contribution helps create a future where no mother has to suffer alone.
